About Me

Having spent over 10 years of my life in the corporate world consulting and designing better customer experiences, over the last 5  years I have been re-discovering my passion for photography having invested in a new  camera. As I became the go-to photographer for friends and family and finding myself enjoying every spare minute advancing my skills, I have decided to offer  my photography skills to more people, professionally.

I particularly enjoy capturing real emotion in portraits whether it be showing the authentic connection between families or for individuals, in natural environments (particularly in our gorgeous parks when the weather is behaving!) and showing people in a better light than they imagined themselves.  I also enjoy capturing and exploring creatively with fashion and editorial photography.

I try to use natural light where possible because of the beautiful soft lighting it gives, however in environments this is not possible, I will have appropriate lighting set up (and always have a portable flash on me!)

I will create contemporary timeless portraits for you, whether it be for your wall, to give to family members, to use online, to build your portfolio or for your new  personal brand.

I know many people do not enjoy having their photo taken and will feel nervous about a photographer being there focussed on them, whilst others absolutely love it-  I have a friendly, relaxed approach  (do the planning in advance so don’t need to worry on the day) and my aim is to make you feel at ease, comfortable  and confident, and capture photos that show you in the best light and angle!  

When I am not photographing people, you can find me photographing landscapes, discovering beautiful new places, reading or cycling!  I am based in South London –  I usually do shoots around London and South West area,  especially Teddington, Wandsworth (Battersea, Wandsworth Town, Chelsea),  Richmond, Putney and surrounding areas and Croydon. I’m also willing to travel sometimes- especially abroad! Just get in touch with your needs and we can see what we can work out!  I know great spots in local parks around London for natural photography, or I can come to your home  (when Covid restrictions permit) and if you want photographs in front of pretty London icons/areas happy to arrange that as well.

To deliver great results to you, as well as practising for many hours, I have achieved a Diploma in Photography, completed many practical workshops and  joined and actively participate in several photo clubs to keep abreast of trends and techniques.
